Sigh. You can’t win them all, can you?
Between you and me, I think my skills at watercolour painting are improving. I’ve realised that less paint and more water adds to a far better watercolour effect… I just need to get my blending skills honed a little and then I’ll be almost there!
Today’s Natural Beauty theme over on Doodlewash is Flowers, so I’ve painted a few. Merely for practice rather than a Nobel Prize (or whatever they give out for outstanding pieces of art!), but at least it’s still creative.
It’s a pity that my ‘improved’ painting skills have come at the cost of my photography skills, and all I could get was this blurred image. Mind you, being slightly out of focus may also give it a slight edge. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!
