Wordle: A Dropped Penny

A dropped penny
Sometimes ends up spinning
On its edges until it rests
More often though it simply lands
And lies flat revealing tails or heads
With no pattern to work from
Or no keys to follow
It’s random chance to call which side
And so some errors one must allow
It’s easy to get things wrong
And just as so to get them right
No need to feed the self-righteous ego
And keep the gloating out of sight
There’s even no need to hold on to the result
When it’s done just let it go
It’s amazing what release can do…
Once the penny drops

Perhaps I should throw many pennies into the air, Tom. Nice one.

Thanks, Amy. See if you can get one to land on its edge! 😀

A fine allegory for life. Alas, how rare those pennies that land on edge are.

It does happen every now and again, Cara. Rare, but not impossible! 😀

I love this one, the drifts of humour and metaphor. Nicely done.
