First Signs of Change

It was the temperature that was noticed first. Then the light.

The ground was dry, and the day had been the warmest so far. Gone was the frost, the blizzards, and hopefully, the Winter.

6pm and still light.

Darkness is creeping in slowly, even so: Spring is on its way!

Enjoy the change – I must admit that it’s the light that I love the most about coming out of winter. Lovely photo!

Hi Deb! Yes, the light is very welcome!
The photo isn’t one of mine, but thank you… it’s from Pixabay.

We had the most beautiful day yesterday with cloudless skies from first thing until last and there was a real hint of spring in the air. Today is more normal – grey skies. 😦

I think it’ll be changeable like that for a while now, Elaine.
Who am I kidding? It’s always changeable!

I think the weather forecasters use the word ‘changeable’ just to cover their backs – in case they get it wrong!

Yes Tom, warmer days and chilly nights, but we’re getting there! 🙂

    God Bless!

Thanks, Elena. The pic is one from Pixabay, though… not mine.
But yes! There is definitely more of a Spring feel around!

Day-light savings time … confusing and disruptive. I lack sleep since she arrived. Ugh … !!!!

Yes, and by the time we finally settle into things, the clocks change again!
Our clocks alter next weekend, so we have it all to come, Isadora! 😀

The worst part is changing the clock in my car. I can never remember. I feel like the car is against me. They combined the stereo settings with the clock. I say ‘Conspiracy’. : – )

The clock in my car is broken, Isadora! The time bears no relevance to the current time, and will not change! Conspiracy indeed! Something seems to be going on here…
