Earlier today, I posted an image that I was going to use as a setting for a ghost story, but all ideas for the story went out of the window when I noticed a ghostly face peering out from the lower centre of the picture.
I’d tweaked the colours on the image, and removed a telegraph pole on the right and a blotch from the sky, but I made no changes to the rest of the picture itself.
The original is quite blurred, but here it is:
After I miraculously turned day into night, I noticed the face I mentioned earlier.
This next image highlights where I’m looking, with the face directly next to a question mark:
The next one highlights the face:
And this is a close-up of the face from the blurred original (you may need to allow your vision to go slightly out of focus to see it, but if not please do not strain your eyes!):

I can see the face clearly in every image now that I’m aware of it, but not everyone sees the same thing! I hope now that I’ve pointed it out, it is slightly clearer if you couldn’t see it earlier.
As usual, I’m probably looking too deeply into the shadows, but this has given me a couple of Halloween-linked posts that I wasn’t planning on creating.
When inspiration strikes, we must act! That is the creation process at work!
