Hopefully, I’m giving out the correct type of vibe for what I’m trying to create for my blog, which is a feel good, fun, comfortable, easy reading, doesn’t-matter-if-you-miss-it kind of place. I hope the blog appeals to everyone of all ages, and I don’t mean to offend anyone who reads anything that I happen to write. My personal opinions are just that, and my writing is just a way for me to express those opinions. You, the reader, may agree or disagree with anything that I write, but my opinions shouldn’t really have any bearing on your onions.
I try to keep my posts varied, not because I have so much to write about, but because I haven’t a clue as to what to write about, and tend to write about the first thing that springs to mind. Sometimes, these impromptu posts make sense; sometimes they don’t, but as long as I’m writing about something, I’m happy. Writing is so much fun when you enjoy just doing it, don’t you think? I enjoy writing as it helps me to feel good… I love to feel good!
Trying to think of something interesting to write about, when your mind is full of emptiness, can seem like quite a daunting task. Some would say impossible. In my world, nothing is truly impossible. If you say it is, it is. If you say it isn’t, it isn’t. That’s how my world operates. So plucking a subject from a mass of nothing is easy pickings really…
However, part of me is also a wannabe vampire superhero, which tends to indicate that my mind doesn’t exactly follow the same path as other ‘mere’ humans. Added to that are the other aspects of my character, my inner beings, who crop up every now and then and throw their ideas into my blogging ideas pool: Bernard, my nagging inner voice, has been very quiet of late (he’s on a top secret mission)… Fred, my inner Road Raging driver (he’s on the same mission as Bernard, but sometimes his influence is felt – I beginning to think he may be psychic)… Fingers, my inner typist… Thomasina, my inner woman… Brianpower, my inner leap-into-action-when-needed personality… Tom the Geek, my inner nerd… my conglomerate of inner politicians appear occasionally (and only occasionally, I’m pleased to add)… my dreamer, my imagination, my time-traveller, the various reincarnated mes, and all of my inner monsters (zombie / ghost / hair and so on). This list continues to grow, as other inner aspects of myself emerge as if by magic. Usually, however, they crop up in response to some kind of external situation or stimulus.
Until tonight. Not one of them has come forth with something for me to write about. OK, my dreamer has allowed me to remember another of my dreams which I will write about soon. It was another flying dream, and another feel good one to boot, so I had to mention that right now! More on this in a future post! Dream aside, all I could come up with was a quick run down of the latest search engine terms to bring readers (new or old; I can’t tell from the stats page) to my little section of Cyber Space.
Search engine terms such as:
- i woke dis morning an my right tom s paining
- "could pull it off"
- optical illusions that make you fall asleep
The above three have been for today only. I have absolutely no idea what the searcher was looking for with those terms, but hopefully they found it here. Or not, as the case may be. The following have been selected from the search terms of all time (since my blog began, that is):
- illusions that make you pass out
- ham salad sandwich
- cucumber sayings
- static electricity from lift button
- aquatom blog

- surreal reality
- nothing or something
- dark curly aunty
- a dark night near my window
- all good things come end, but i wouldn’t want it at the end
The thing is, I have written a post or two regarding most of the above. Maybe not in the context that the searcher was actually looking for, but they all seem very familiar and I can see why the searcher was directed to my blog. Although I am unsure about the dark curly aunty and the dark night near my window – maybe these are posts that I will write about in the future. Well, I do cross over into different dimensions and time zones every now and then, so anything’s possible.
Remember, if you say it is, it is. If you say it isn’t, it isn’t…
