End of day thoughts…

The_Persistence_of_Memory

The Persistence of Memory, by Salvador Dali.

If ever there was a painting to sum up how I am feeling at this precise moment, it has to be this one! Comfortably relaxed to the point where time and space meet, and where I can not feel where my body ends and the vast expanse of the universe begins. Where my thoughts feel heavy, and yet my body feels light enough for the winds to easily carry me away.

To describe myself as ‘tired’ falls far short of the mark.
To describe time as ‘passing’ is like describing a speeding bullet traveling by in ultra slow-motion.
There and not there in equal measure.
Time is passing by quickly, and yet I feel as though there is plenty of time and no time at all.
I’m not confused. I just am.
Relaxed.
Still.
Calm.
And I’m feeling good…
Good enough to sleep…

Hi Bex… I was very chilled last night!
I don’t know much of what he’s done, but I remember this painting the most I think…

I hope you slept well, Sir Aquatom, I love things which give you a differing perspective, a chance to see things from another persons view. (i.e. your blog, Salvador Dali’s painting, )… Please don’t float away though, you never know on what uncharted waters you might discover.. or mayhap find yourself inside said painting, … now there’s a mind blowing experience if I ever saw one. . … 😀 xPenx

I’ll try my best not to float away, Lady P, although I can’t promise anything. And maybe (just maybe) I’m in a painting already?
I had an amazing sleep. And an amazing dream too…

I sleep but still feel tired when I wake!
Too much stress in my life this week so I’m looking forward to a stress free weekend and relax in just the way you describe.

Highly recommended, Trevor! I’ve felt comfortable before, but last night the comfort bar was most definitely raised! Hope you have a more relaxing weekend!
