Nearly lost the blog then!
I randomly thought of setting up another blog specifically for these ‘One Minute Rambles’, and the settings for the new blog over-wrote this one… or so I thought. Even though I was using a different browser, different username, different e-mail address, and different everything else imaginable in this wonderfully confusing corner of cyberspace, the blog thought that I wanted the changes to happen here.
Eek!
So, what does one do in such circumstance? One chooses to delete the blog. Although the link I received in the email says that the link is now stale and I need to use another link to delete it, I tried it again. I kept on being directed to the new blog, and not this old chestnut.
Eek again!
Deleting the blog would have been a bit of a nightmare, especially for my PostADay Challenge. And yes, I know that I recently wrote that this blog may come to an end one day, but I meant I wouldn’t be adding any more posts to it, not deleting it completely, or having it over-written by a new blog on the er… block.
Luckily, another thought struck me. If I can’t delete, log out and log in again.
And guess what? It worked! The blog’s still here! And I think the other one might be too. I’ll use that on a completely different computer, I think. But on another day. This was a bit too close for comfort today.
Phew!
