Lazy Sunday

Very quiet day today. I went supermarket shopping, and that was the highlight of the day. I think it was a good thing, to be honest, that I have had a lazy day, as I didn’t have the energy to do anything else. Even having the lazy day zapped my energy supplies! I’ve had a lingering headache for most of the day, and achy arms to top that off nicely, although I’m pleased to say that I seem to be back to normal now, although I’m feeling very sleepy. Which is usually the case on a lazy day anyway…

The problem with lazy days is that I don’t tend to do much. I lounge around, and that is it really! How that depletes energy supplies is beyond me, however it may have something to do with everything from the week just gone catching up with me. I needed to do nothing to recharge my batteries. They’re about 60% charged now, and after a good night’s sleep tonight, I should be back to normal energy levels once again.

On the other hand, Sundays are an ideal day to be lazy. I don’t have to go to work, and I don’t normally have to do any shopping, as I usually go on Saturday (but didn’t yesterday), so with those out of the way there’s nothing left to do. I could, I suppose, find something to do, but no. I’ll have my lazy Sunday, thank you very much.

Unfortunately, doing nothing and having no energy causes a slight problem with this blog. My creative streak is having a lazy day too, so I have to resort to a lazy post. And this is it.

Hopefully, normal service will be resumed tomorrow.
And hopefully, I’ll have something to include in my post… tomorrow’s another day!

At least I was in good company today, Sundays are great for being lazy aren’t they? 😀

They are that! The only thing is, after a lazy day, I have a couple (at least) of catching up days, to do what I didn’t do on the lazy day… I’m not doing it today though! 😉

Ah! Lazy days! I love Lazy days…but for some reason I feel even more tired after a lazy day, especially if it’s a Monday the next day!

    Hmmm?

I know exactly what you mean. I’ve been in work today, absolutely shattered. And the heating was on. Not good…

Lazy days are good, you recharge the internal (infernal?) batteries and face the morrow with good grace. But as Shree says, why are we more tired after a ‘resting’ period? Seems a contradiction somehow, or is that the wrong word? Feeling far toooooo lazy to think about it!! 🙂 xPenx

And like I said to Trevor, Pen, I always seem to have a lot to do after a lazy day. It may seem like a rest at the time…
