Every now and then, I will need to make up a word for my blog. Strange, I know, but the current words that are available don’t seem to want to fit correctly, so a new word is needed. This list will explain what those words mean.
Banfused
The act of being banned from using the word ‘confused’
Catulence
Feline flatulence
Cyberverse
The universe contained within cyber space. The interlinking connectivity between people through the blogosphere. The real and the surreal. Cyber Existence.
Dillop
A dillop is a discourteous driver in my world, one who seems to drive regardless of any other road user being around them, as though they are the only one on the road.
Fiveout Dash
The art of fleeing a situation without looking back! Example leaving the office at the end of the day…
Flacement
The recognition of a face in unfamiliar surroundings, without knowing who the person actually is. Or the opposite – not recognising someone due to where they are because you are used to seeing them in other places
Orangifying
Gradually becoming orange
Simalong
In relation to days, very much of the sameness as another but twice as long
Spamfest
Messages marked as spam that are waiting to be read, deleted or both
Spirammer
A harmless, mischievous spirit that likes to slam doors when one is drifting off to sleep. They leave the space once the door is slammed as their work is done
Strandance
The inclusion of anything random, with or without structure or balance
Thentasy
A fantasy from the past
Twistery
A mysterious tale that takes many twists and turns as it’s plot progresses…
Veerdriver
One who drives haphazardly, crossing more than one lane of traffic A dillop.
Whatevering
Industriously doing something at any time, neither of which is specified, but seemingly urgently needed to be done at that precise moment in time
Yes I often make up words in my commenting too so if you ever get confused as to what the hell I am talking about then perhaps it would be best to visit ‘Raven of Leyla’ as she often deciphers them, and then in return adds something of her own making, I think that some of these are of the ‘Nesticles’ origin but of course mine are much more simplistic… Yes a complicated comment with a twistacle of logic thrown in for mood geasure 🙂
Have a great rest of evening now Aquatom and
I will continue calling in here to fathom your new wordage 🙂

Hello, Androgoth. My dictionary isn’t looking that impressive at the moment, I must admit, but it will do… one day! Raven’s space is now part of my visiting schedule, so I’ll be able to find any meanings, should I need to.
I hope to have some new words here soon…

No problemo as they say, sorry about the non-entry scenario I was faffing with my Space earlier in the day and I popped it on the Private setting while I was busy tweaking, of course I clicked it back before I signed out but hadn’t realised that it was still on Private, so thank you for clicking to view my Space, actually I have another friend called Sabina who also had this problem, so my thanks is to the both of you… I could have been left wondering where everyone was? 😦 Thank you Aquatom and do enjoy the rest of your evening 🙂

Ah… I think I get it now! Some things take me a little longer than a while to grasp, and some times I have grasped it in the completely wrong place!
Please accept my apologies, Raven, for the lack of words in this dictionary. Even international best sellers start with a single word! 😀

ferzackerly, Sir A, there’s a dire need for a dictionary such as this. I shall wracks my braincells for some examples, trouble is my brains’ filing system is beyond me, It did explain it once, but gave up when my eyes glazed over. xx

I’m very pleased that you reminded me of this page, Pen, ’tis one of the ones that has been… erm… left behind as it were. I’m sure I’ve created a few words since the last one, so I will update it shortly!

I don’t know if it’s original, but I recently used the word “ponderly” (defined as ‘something which makes one ponder’–not at all related to ponderous). If you want to, you can add it to your dictionary here 🙂

I like ‘ponderly’, Zelda. My, this place is rather cobwebby… I haven’t been here for a while! It could do with a spruce up. 🙂
