Every now and then, I will need to make up a word for my blog. Strange, I know, but the current words that are available don’t seem to want to fit correctly, so a new word is needed. This list will explain what those words mean.
Banfused
The act of being banned from using the word ‘confused’
Catulence
Feline flatulence
Cyberverse
The universe contained within cyber space. The interlinking connectivity between people through the blogosphere. The real and the surreal. Cyber Existence.
Dillop
A dillop is a discourteous driver in my world, one who seems to drive regardless of any other road user being around them, as though they are the only one on the road.
Fiveout Dash
The art of fleeing a situation without looking back! Example leaving the office at the end of the day…
Flacement
The recognition of a face in unfamiliar surroundings, without knowing who the person actually is. Or the opposite – Β not recognising someone due to where they are because you are used to seeing them in other places
Orangifying
Gradually becoming orange
Simalong
In relation to days, very much of the sameness as another but twice as long
Spamfest
Messages marked as spam that are waiting to be read, deleted or both
Spirammer
A harmless, mischievous spirit that likes to slam doors when one is drifting off to sleep. They leave the space once the door is slammed as their work is done
Strandance
The inclusion of anything random, with or without structure or balanceΒ
Thentasy
A fantasy from the past
Twistery
A mysterious tale that takes many twists and turns as it’s plot progresses…
Veerdriver
One who drives haphazardly, crossing more than one lane of traffic A dillop.
Whatevering
Industriously doing something at any time, neither of which is specified, but seemingly urgently needed to be done at that precise moment in time
