“So, what’s the plan?” the Honourable Tom asked, intrigued.
“And can I be a part of it?” Tomette smirked.
Tomstein’s eyes grew wide, and it appeared he was salivating as he walked to the head of the table. Tombie moved his hand away from his ear to point out the drool, but his ear fell off again, and he got back into concentrating on fixing it back into place.
“Of course, my dear.” Tomstein contained himself. “In fact, ve all vill be a part of it.”
The Honourable Tom leant forward to listen closer, and Tomelangelo leant back in his chair to get a clear view of the eccentric professor, who seemed to be growing more eccentric by the second.
“Firstly, Tomette, you vill distract Thomasina by commenting on her pinny. I sink a nice compliment from you shall srow her completely off guard.
“Zhen, Fingers and Tummy vill go in for zhe kill.” Tomstein clasped his hands together.
“The kill?!” The Honourable Tom was outraged. “Steady on, man, that’s a bit extreme.”
Tomstein ignored the comment at first but then continued, agitatedly, “It is a figure of speech. Fingers and Tummy vill restrain her… Fingers vill hold her back vhilst Tummy vill use his bandages to tie her up.
“Zhen, Tombie, Tomelangelo, and zhe Honourable Tom vill bring her to my laboratory. By vhich time, I shall have my mind mover machine powered up and connected to zhe dummy.”
“So, I’m just the distraction?” Huffed Tomette.
“I predicted you vould say zhis, Tomette, vhich is vhy you vill also be my surgical assistant.”
A look of horror crossed Tomette’s face, as she stuttered “s… surgery…”
“It is anozher figure of speech, Tomette. Zhe machine vill do all zhe work. All you need to do is make sure Thomasina is very, very comfortable. “
