Amulet Seekers

The co-ordinates are correct, somewhere over there we shall find the last relic of the bythantium era, the Amulet of Koh.

Isn’t the amulet supposed to be buried beneath a desert?

It was in the days this manuscript was written, in a time long ago… but times change; places change.

Would they change this much though… it seems this particular oasis has spread a bit?

Maybe… but these co-ordinates have been confirmed and verified by satellite navigation technology… we are in the right place.

I don’t know… I don’t suppose they would have had satellite technology back in the bythantium days… I mean, where out there could that golden cup be buried?

Posted for Six Sentence Stories. This week’s prompt word is Relic.

First step is asking the question. Has the search begun? Do we have a new series beginning, Tom? Ya kind of left us hanging in what like an Episode 1! 😁

    P.S. Link up!

Linked and locked in, Denise. I had forgotten!!!
I wasn’t planning for this to be a new series, I was just getting back into writing again… but you never know!

    Welcome back to Sixville.

Thank your doppelgänger for us down at the SSC&B to paraphrase Mr. Zevon ‘The BLTs were perfect.’

      My doppelgänger is thanked, Clark.
As it stands tight now, though, this is just a one-off… 😊
