The Truth Alone

This is my attempt at Found Poetry.

A sense of recognition
people look familiar
This is where we need to be
honest
self
beyond any facades / the truth
Alone

For better examples of Found Poetry, visit Misky‘s site, for it is she who has inspired me to have a go.

The words I have found have all come from pages 240 and 241 of James Redfield’s 1994 book The Celestine Prophecy.

I haven’t quite found out what FOUND poetry is. If and when I do I might or might not try. I have a feeling I’ll never find out. 😦

What I understand of it, Ladysighs, is Found Poetry is words or sentences used in books, taken out and then put back together in the same order, but making up a different piece.
My interpretation may be slightly wrong, but it’s a fun way of writing.
The words/phrases seem to jump off the page whilst skimming the text.
Have a go… you may like it! 🙂
