MPP Prompt: Enigma

Welcome to the Mansionic Pioneer Poem prompt for September. Write a Pioneer Poem either on your own blog (linking back to here) or in the comments below, using the following prompt as a guide.

Enigma

What’s a Pioneer Poem? Thank you for asking. It’s a poetic style that gets you thinking!

Each line can be up to five syllables in length – but no more than five.

The first word on each line is the rhyming word. So lines 1 and 2 will have a rhyming word, then 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and so on.

The number of lines is up to you. However, the first two lines must be repeated as the last two lines in the poem, the opposite way around. So, basically, line 1 begins and ends the poem, and line 2 is the second and penultimate line.

The poem can be nonsense, as long as it conveys the overall theme.

Have fun!

Well done, Destiny! You’re off the hook!
It’s simple! It’s the thoughts that add the difficulty! 🤣
