Nancy walked confidently across the room, after speaking to the Gatekeeper, who provided his usual high level of security in the kiosk at the entrance.
She sat at the bar, waiting to be served; Mimi and Tom were at the far end of the bar, and Denise was talking to Jenne on the stage, struggling, it seemed with the microphone.
The Tall, Thin Man emerged from the office at the far end of the corridor and slowly walked along the bar to where Nancy sat.
“I believe you know a thing or two about music,” he said, standing between her and the increasingly restless packed room behind him, “rhythm, vibes, that sort of stuff… whilst we are waiting to resolve our technical hitch, would you mind popping up to our music booth and acting as our temporary DJ?”
“I thought you’d never ask…”, Nancy said, already out of her seat and heading toward the stairs at the side of the stage that led to the DJ booth. “In fact, I have a great Rhythm Section that I think you will all like!”

What‽ Another Six Sentence Story so soon after the first one‽ I can’t believe it! The prompt word is still security, and we haven’t called by the SSC&B for a while, so why not!
