I first remembered where I was when I felt the vibration through the cold metal bed beneath me… how long I’d been out was anyone’s guess, but the stun-blaster caught me off guard.
So, here I am, on this ‘prison’ ship, many light-years from Earth, desperate for the loo, with a cracking headache and a small tingling blast mark just above my right hip, with a nice hole in my new shirt to boot.
I’ve no idea what happened to Petunia; she was with me when we entered this thing, but getting caught in blaster-fire is as sure a way as any to get separated.
What was that… oh, yes… we’ll need to find both Petunia and a way home, and in that order, if you don’t mind. Being from Earth means I don’t have any of the tyunyetz… sorry, tyunyitz, you use for payments here, but I do have a silver sovereign coin back home, which you can have when you get us there.
You’ll do it… great… so you’re Alglom Pakk… pleased to meet you… I’m Terence Trucker, but most people call me Truck… Truck the Traveller, although I doubt they’ll believe where I’ve ended up this time!

It’s another Six Sentence Story, a challenge hosted by Denise at Girlie on the Edge, where we are to write, as per the description, a six sentence story using a weekly prompt. This week, the word is truck, and I introduce a new character, Truck Trucker, Traveller!
