The water’s calm
The sky is red
As the sun plunges into a steamy bath…
Red sky at night
Sailors’ delight…
And all who look on… in fact!

      When I was writing this, Sue, I couldn’t make my mind up between sailors and shepherds, but then my logic told me shepherds wouldn’t be out at night. 🤣 And sailors made more sense with it being a watery scene… there wouldn’t be many shepherds out at sea! 😂😅🤣
      I shouldn’t really listen to my logic though! 😊

      Thanks, Chris. I’ve found out why I couldn’t make my mind up between shepherds and sailors… the rhyme has referred to both for thousands of years… but luckily, with my watery scene, sailors was the most appropriate option this time! 😃
