Odd Change

Today’s Odd Square for Becky’s challenge (and it is still today for a few hours!) is merely a pile of odd change.

Change can be odd… but it can also be exciting and exhilarating, if viewed correctly. Change for change sake isn’t really the best, but change for the better always is.

Always try to change for the better, not just because you feel you have to.

you are so right about change, and that is very odd change as it all seems the same?!!

It is the same change, Becky… which to some would be a contradiction of terms, but it’s my two pound tub.

Not often all the same, although I do end up with pocketfuls of 1ps and 2ps (when I use cash, that is!)

Are they in the Euro now, or do they still have their own money?

They’re in the Euro, just here in the south cash rules specially in the outdoor markets. If they see you have change they’ll refuse to take notes some of them!!

I can see that making sense, actually. There’s nothing worse than having a till full of notes and no change! 🙂

“Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose” – how ODD for that to pop into my head! 🙂

Very odd, Chris… now what did your head say in English? Oddly, I’m not sure if it’s French, and my French is very rusty. Just slightly behind my English… 😊

My more pedestrian thought was that UK currency looks so foreign to me now.

It’s amazing how quickly we adapt, isn’t it? Or, erm, change… hehehe! 😁

Reminds me …. I need to get a haircut. A new do can do wonders for a woman AND those around her. 😉
