I sit here, thinking of something to write as my computer runs a virus scan in the background. In the background, apparently, I should add, as it has ground the computer almost to a halt. And this is the virus scan! Goodness knows how the computer would operate if, somehow, a virus did manage to manifest itself inside of it. It would probably lock it down completely. Sigh. I think we’ve seen enough of those to last us a lifetime now.
Maybe it will work better in Windows 11. Maybe the updates will work better in Windows 11 too, thinking about it. They grind the computer to a halt in Windows 10, as they install their bits and bobs in the background, leaving me wondering if, somehow, a virus has got into my computer and is causing it to go slow. This in turn prompts me to run a virus scan, in the background, which probably explains why, now that I have two things running in the background, the computer decides to go on an even slower go slow.
So, I’ve answered my question.
I’ll post this, and leave the computer to it. Them. Whatever.
