The echoes of night
Heartbeat raced
With the feelings of fright
An icy cold wind
With an icy cold bite
Shivers
And jitters
And a nervous laugh
A ghostly whisper
A terrifying rasp
Darkness beyond
Where the dreams come from
Hidden behind some sombre song
A euphoric cackle cut through the night
As darkness surrounded the sense of sight
