Using my loaf

#WorldWatercolorMonth Day Eight

I couldn’t think what to paint for today’s watercolour. I needed something different from yesterday’s creation – that’s the rule I’ve set myself; the next post must be completely different to the previous one – but I couldn’t think of anything. I was also short of time, which didn’t help matters. I wracked my brain cell… I strained the grey matter… I used my loaf… and couldn’t come up with anything.

So I’ve painted a loaf of freshly baked bread.

I have a breadmaker myself, so, when I use it, that does the baking for me…. I merely pop in the ingredients before I go to sleep, and when I wake the following morning I’m surrounded by that wondrous scent of fresh bread. I can’t help myself and need to help myself to a thick slice or two. Lovely!

How to have a loaf but work hard at the same time? At least painting it isn’t as fattening as eatin it! 🙂

My Inner Breadmaker, Icewolf, is actually Fingers, my Inner Typist, in his spare time! He’s had loads of it whilst I’ve been painting!
