The Morning After… New theme afterthoughts

I’m going to stick with it.
The old posts are no longer being brought into the homepage, which is good as things speed up without waiting for the million-or-so previous posts that I have written to load. The only down side here at the minute is that I can’t seem to be able to mark any previous post as a ‘sticky’ to get any of them to appear; its gone from all to nothing. I’ve added a link to the site archives, so the previous posts are accessible at least. (Up there, top right!)

The old-fashioned way
This new theme doesn’t seem to want to work with Windows Live Writer properly at present… or Live Writer doesn’t want to work with it – one way or the other. So, any new posts will have to be written in the tried and tested traditional method through the Dashboard. I can type my post in Live Writer and upload it, but the fonts go haywire! Large and small, up and down, it’s like being on a letter roller-coaster ride. I’m sure this problem will be ironed out too. Even pioneers had to try something new!

I’ll keep on trying Live Writer though. I couldn’t change the font style last night, but I can this morning. It doesn’t work, but I can change it! Every silver cloud and all that.

A bit of colour
Adding the colour to the titles to these little paragraphs is a nightmare! They appear in red in parts, and black in others. Hopefully, they’ll appear in red in the finished product. If not, they’ll stay as they are. However, this has more to do with me, rather than the new theme…

A new day
It’s Saturday! The weekend! And I’m up at 8.20 messing with my blog. I have actually been up since 6.30ish – that shows commitment. I haven’t managed to get any changes made (apart from the archive link) but hey, Rome wasn’t built in a day. (Oh, I didn’t get up extra early to mess with the blog – I’m not that sad – I couldn’t sleep!)

Randomness
I love the word randomness! I’m experiencing that feeling right now! Haphazard happenings and random occurrences with whatever I choose to do! It’s so fun – never a dull moment! I have a tick box that says “This post is super-awesome” that doesn’t seem to do anything as yet. I’ve ticked it whilst writing this post, but please don’t blame me if the post starts a-flashing and those ants start a-marchin’ around. Not that I’m expecting that to happen, of course.

Looking forward
Things can only get better. If not, things will have to change. Either way is a change for the better. Changes for the better are always good! So no complaints from me!

Eyesight
If the font-size is a little on the small size, I’d like to mention that a brand new range of contact lenses are due to be launched onto the marketplace in the very near future, at exceptionally reasonable prices, if I do say so myself. Twilight Vision not only enhance the way you look out onto the world, but they also enhance the way the world sees you! However, I will try to increase the font-size as contact lenses aren’t everyone’s cup of tea.

Just thought I’d provide a quick update… let’s see what happens! 😀
