MPP Prompt: Joviality

Welcome to the Mansionic Pioneer Poem prompt for December. Write a Pioneer Poem either on your own blog (linking back to here) or in the comments below, using the following prompt as a guide.

Joviality

What’s a Pioneer Poem? Thank you for asking. It’s a poetic style that gets you thinking!

Each line can be up to five syllables in length – but no more than five.

The first word on each line is the rhyming word. So lines 1 and 2 will have a rhyming word, then 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and so on.

The number of lines is up to you. However, the first two lines must be repeated as the last two lines in the poem, the opposite way around. So, basically, line 1 begins and ends the poem, and line 2 is the second and penultimate line.

The poem can be nonsense, as long as it conveys the overall theme.

Have fun!

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these.
Must the prompt word be included as is or as just an inspiration?
It’s pretty difficult when the prompt word alone is 5 syllables. Just saying.
    😂 😂 😂

      Me too, actually, Nancy!
The prompt word is really just for the theme. It can appear in the poem if it fits (but good luck with this one! 🤣)

OK…AI should do the job to perfection if it’s to come out as nonsense!🤪

Exactly. I have several eight-fingered three-armed people portraits that I just can’t show to anyone, courtesy of AI. It’s amazing at nonsense!

Thank you, Nancy… traditionally festive… or festively traditional! 🙂
