Through the Amethyst Shards

Beyond the blue quartz archway
Through the amethyst shards
Lies a realm of magical anticipation
Home of scholars, poets, bards
Bygone days meet modern times
With instruments of brass and gold or more
Scrolls of text hold secrets
Long forgotten from times of yore
Winged horses ride the zephyrs
Whilst unicorns gallop across the land
And animals and people walk together
Hoof in paw or claw in hand
Rainbows arc across the sky
In colours bolder than ever seen
The air is fresh, the waters clear
And appreciation key
If imagination is the archway
And shards the points of thought
The worlds of wonder just beyond
Are far greater than we’re taught

Great poem TL….Pretty crystals…Love the color….Seems like I keep bumping into people or books talking about Magic these days. The universe must be telling us to incorporate more of into every day!!! We all need it….VK 🙂

Thanks, VK. The crystals are 3D art rendered. I too am seeing magic, witchcraft and spellbooks everywhere at the moment… perhaps the magic is making a return after its short absence.
Like you say, it is needed!

What a wonderful poem with which to start my day! Favourite line: ‘Hoof in paw or claw in hand’ – as Diane says, love that image, Tom 🙂
