I like the dark moody version that you open with, Tom. It has a slightly supernatural element

I like the colours of that one, Debbie. Fits in nicely with the time of the year!

I presume everyone’s heard of Jodrell Bank, Becky, with me living so close to it… obviously that’s not the case! Well, the good thing is, you’ve heard of it now! 😂🙂

Just up the road and I never went. A missed opportunity, I guess.

I’ve only been passed it, Chris. I will pop in one day, though, when it’s fully open!

Of course I’ve not heard of it, but it makes me think of the people waiting for signals from aliens. 🙂

I think that too, Janet. They can’t really only be listening to the stars singing!

    Hi Tom! 🙂 ❤

Apparently I met Sir Bernard Lovell back when it was just the telescope and the arboretum, I’d be 6yo. at the time! 🙂 ❤

These days it has a visitors centre and I really enjoyed the experience.

Well worth the entry fee!!! 🙂 ❤

    Blessed Be! 🙂 ❤

Oh the sweet sights of home! I used to cycle all the way to Jodrell Bank with my friend many moons ago, often gaining punctures re-route and road side repairs or bouncing over the handlebars on the country lanes! My mum’s living in Nantwich now -she was born in Holmes Chapel. The pic with the country lane takes me back to those trips there to see the grandparents and the telescope was my greatest thrill! Your photos are great, I have some from my last visit right up close. We also went to Mars that day from the visitors centre! 😉

Glad you like the photos and have good memories, Icewolf. I am going to have to visit there in person one day (and that is one day soon, if the pesky virus is listening), so I can get some closer photos. And visit Mars that way too, rather than the usual way I go there! 😃

😆And may I ask what the usual way you go there is Tom?😅 Not on the bus I take it🤣 The dear virus is undoubtedly ear-wigging with great interest and planning it’s next onslaught! It’s not likely to be satisfied with merely having reduced the whole country to tiers!😛🙃🤪

          Very droll! 🤣
As with all my interplanetary trips, I just end up there… transport not needed! 🙂

Yes…me too😷😉 Forgotten what a physical visit outside of the area I live, is like! It all seems to have viral out there!🙃
