Ethereal tendrils
Reach out
And up
And through
Connecting everything in their path
Life and death
Light and dark
Love and lust
Destruction becomes creation
As night follows day
And pleasure emerges from anger
Through time the tendrils spread
Infecting
Illuminating
Injecting ideas and stories
Some heart-warming
Some horrific
All connected
Ethereal tendrils
Reach out

    Reminds me of a game I played on the C64 where you get dumped into water on another world and if you didn’t get out sharpish tendrils would grab you and drag you to your watery doom. 🙂 ❤
