Devastation

Debbie’s theme for One Word Sunday this week is ‘Devastation’, and for some reason, I always think in black and white for this kind of word. I have an odd mind at times!

The photo I have chosen is of the Flower Patch from last year, where all of those lovely little Seedlings grew. It looks like this now…

    Black and white is pretty fitting. In times of trouble the color goes out of our life …for a moment anyway. Then the color comes rushing in and like the flower things turn pretty again.

    Oh no…is it because of winter? And well, black & white does tend to lend the starkness of devastation..if I’ve used the word starkness right..hehe. The flower is so pretty…but you know, with devastation comes a form of re-birth 🙂
