The worlds of magic and history collide
At a time where peace and hope reside
Though not entirely true
The symbols of peace and hope shine through
Volumes of cards posted
Health toasted
Birds roasted
Lounges festooned
Too much consumed
Time to slouch
On chair or couch
Gravely full
Unable to move
In the groove
Oh – wine to mull –
Never time to rest
Feeling slightly stressed
Always something unforeseen
But like cogs in any good machine
Everything comes together
That’s the magic right there
Now think of days gone by
Proof we will survive
So keep on with the grind
With that cushion set in mind
And with peace and hope I say
