Wordle: First Flight by Moonlight

Checklist printed
I can now begin.
Boots removed: tick.
Hair trimmed: yep, so I can see (I cringe when I think how it was)
Window opened wide: yes, of course. Had to chip away at the hinge to make that happen!
Tonightโ€™s the night!

I breathe deeply
Long and deepโ€ฆ

The nightโ€™s calm
Full Moon, little mist
I stand on the ledge, lean forward
And lift.

Out for a spin, as they say.
A short flight tonight and see what stems from there
This is how to live!
Free and with the elements

Glad you got the window open.. The Moon was shadowed by the clouds last night Tom here.. But I am pleased you got to flex your wings.. ๐Ÿ™‚ and have a whirl of a time. ๐Ÿ™‚

When I get out there, Sue, I have a whale of a time! The wings get a really good airing!

We never know… maybe one day as we’re both floating around amongst the stars!

Sometimes freedom takes a little preparation but you make us see that it is worth it in order to take flight – a soaring poem ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks, Jae. Yes, a little preparation for freedom is always worthwhile! Even just a deep breath helps.

As someone who has to live by a pretty tight schedule, the thought of living free and with the elements is very appealing!

Hi Cara, yes, I know what you’re saying! My schedule is tight at present as well, so those little elemental breaks are a must!

The trick to flying is simple enough – kind of harder to do.

Take a deep breath, throw yourself at the ground – and miss… ๐Ÿ™‚

God Bless and huge hugs my friend!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Prenin.

    Well done indeed.
Was this with or without a broom? ๐Ÿ™‚

Most definitely without, thanks, Col. The brooms are only used in October for ceremonial purposes.

That’s when you bring in sweeping changes?

That’s normally the intention, Col, but usually I just bring in sweeping statements… so no change there really at all…

So few people realize how simple it is to fly away at night (preferably in our dreams). Clearly you are a past master at it shedding the boots and long hair first. I might try it tonight!

Yes! Give it a go, Old Egg! It’s easy once you know how! (Even easier though in dreamland!)

Ah, I knew you’d see through my plans one day, VK!
I have been flying high quite a lot lately, haven’t I?

Just make sure to ground yourself occasionally… Otherwise we might lose you and that would not be good… VK ๐Ÿ™‚

You’re right there, VK. I know the importance of being grounded (although some may same I’m half lost as it stands ๐Ÿ˜€ )
