Charon’s Lost Pack

Displaced from Io,
Abandoned, as some may say,
Charon’s pack still sing

Their fire burns within,
And with passion do they howl…
To be home one day

Their calls go unheard
Yet night after night they call
Waiting to be found

I hope she likes it, Sue… I keep adding these little snippets to her legends – the wolves fascinate me.

It would be nice for them when they do, Prenin… but they are scattered throughout the Solar System, these wolves.

Thanks, Isadora. Were the coyotes in the distance or nearby? Either way, I’d imagine it sounded eerie and perhaps magical at the same time…

They were in the distance. But our friends, who live in Taos, NM, have a jacuzzi and we were enjoying it when they told us what the was – howling coyotes. If it weren’t for the wine, I would have been out of there. LOLOL

😀 Wine and water work wonders where coyotes are concerned! (So I’ve heard!) 😉
